Your Man

"Would You Go With Me"

Would you go with me if we rolled down streets of fire
Would you hold on to me tighter as the summer sun got higher
If we roll from town to town and never shut it down

Would you go with me if we were lost in fields of clover
Would we walk even closer until the trip was over
And would it be okay if I didn't know the way

If I gave you my hand would you take it
And make me the happiest man in the world
If I told you my heart couldn't beat one more minute without you, girl
Would you accompany me to the edge of the sea
Let me know if you're really a dream
I love you so, so would you go with me

[Instrumental]

Would you go with me if we rode the clouds together
Could you not look down forever
If you were lighter than a feather
Oh, and if I set you free, would you go with me

If I gave you my hand would you take it
And make me the happiest man in the world
If I told you my heart couldn't beat one more minute without you, girl
Would you accompany me to the edge of the sea
Help me tie up the ends of a dream
I gotta know, would you go with me
I love you so, so would you go with me

So basically this is my new favorite song because possibly more than any other it reminds me of you. I'm tempted not to post this just so that the first time (I don't know maybe you've already heard it) you hear/read it can be while we're dancing to it in Waco on the banks of the Brazos, but since I really miss you I'm going to post it.

So you know I'm really tired of not seeing you. I miss you and I love you with all my heart.

Forever yours,

Joshua

Well, after the long and arduous journey through this summer, I am now officially on vacation. I leave for CA tomorrow. I suppose I'm excited but I'm going to miss a lot of fun here as well. Anyway, the final seemed to go well. Way harder than either of the other tests but I think I did ok. Now I'm off to do laundry, shop, and pack... I think that's about it. Hope everyone else is having/has had a great summer!

Since Somebody Special asked...

Well, I've been busy, but unfortunately it's pretty much the same routine, day in and day out. School, lunch, work dinner (a few days a week at a home meeting), homework/reading (lots of ministry), and then off to bed at a farily early hour.

Except yesterday, I didn't have class in the morning like I normally do, and so I got to go to coordination for the morning. It was really good. I especially enjoyed the time with the students who are serving full time this summer and being able to open to them that, atleast in my case, the young people who aren't serving 1. have a desire to be included and 2. feel a little neglected so far this summer becasue the focus has shifted to the freshman orientees.

But enough of that (unless you really want to know more and then you can ask). I've decided to go on a diet and work out more. I'm getting to be an old man and if I don't start taking care of my body, I won't have good habits later. Don't freak out, my diet doesn't include less food, I'm just trying to mostly cut back on sugar and caffiene. (I know you appreciate it  ). Anyway, my time is limited because I want to catch the next bus home.

I love you and miss you.

Josh

PS- The next time I'll be in Irving is Late July, unless ofcourse my parents really want me to come home for the 4th!

Oh the SWEET taste of FREEDOM!

For starters, let me simply say WOO HOO! I'm finally finished with this semester. Although I do begin another in approximately 2.5 weeks, I will be looking forward to spending some time relaxing, spending time with family and friends, and ofcourse packing and cleaning for the big move.

Hope everyone else is doing wonderfully!

Josh

**EDIT**

Today must be my lucky day... I just checked my email and I finally heard back from the Lab Director saying he wants me to work this summer ... and on a whim I checked my grades and I got an "A" in statistics! Heck yes! *pats self on back*

X down, 5-X to go

So I just finished my materials test in half an hour, and I went through it 3 times. It was fairly easy, messed up on a few. Anyway, The finals I've had so far weren't too bad. So I'm surviving with little stress invovled. I've eaten out with friends almost everyday this week, which, if you know me, is unusual.

Not much else happening, besides missing you.

Josh
